Recent results at CREPS

During the school vacations, a number of competitions were held, and some of Bordeaux’s CREPS athletes shone. Here’s a closer look at recent results from several of the CREPS Pôles.

Pôle France Shooting

From April 20 to 23, the 2nd Grand Prix de France 2023 de fosse olympique took place. 2019 athletes from 19 nations were present, and among them, some of our polistes shone:

Clément BOURGUE finished second in the individual rankings and was crowned team champion with his two French team-mates!

In the ladies’ category, Mélanie COUZY and Loémy RECASENS were also crowned team champions with the French team!

Pôle France Roller

In the European Cup, at the Arena Geisingen in Germany, Yvan SIVILIER was crowned champion, winning the 200-metre dobbin sprint in 13.859 seconds!

Pôle Espoir American Football

On April 22, against Marseille, the American Football team won 3-14. This was their last match of the regular season, and they will now be focusing on preparing for the first Playoff match at home on Sunday May 14.

Pôle France Modern Pentathlon

At the U19 French Championships in Pennes-Mirabeau, Coline FLAVIN took first place in the women’s category, closely followed by Anouck TOULEMONDE in second place. In the men’s category, Rafaël TETU finished eighth.

Rugby Espoir Centers

Nelcya Kouyaté and Elyjah Ibsaiene (upgraded) took part in the 6 Nations Festival for under-18s. A first for them, the event ended in victory: the French women’s team and the French men’s team both won the festival!

Volleyball Espoir Centers

Amy Attivi and the players of the French U17 Women’s Team qualified for the forthcoming U17W European Championships by finishing second thanks to their victory over Spain (3 sets to 1).

At the same time, three Pôle volleyball players – Mathys Lapierre, Sadjhy Crane and Clément Fabrowski– have qualified with the French U17 Men’s Team for the European Championships next July, with 3 wins from 3 matches.

Pôle France Archery

Amélie Cordeau sets a French record in U21 Olympic shooting. Quite a performance for Amélie, who enters this category through the front door! She is just three points shy of the French Senior record.
