At the service of performance

The Maison Régionale de la Performance is a structure designed to optimize the preparation of top-level athletes for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Each region has its own Maison Régionale de la Performance. In the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, this is the Maison Régionale de la Performance de Nouvelle-Aquitaine (MRPNA).

The team is made up of 6 High Performance advisors and a manager, all of whom work in the field to provide individualized, personalized support for each athlete in the region.

Together with the Bordeaux and Poitiers CREPS high performance departments, the Bordeaux CREPS research department and the Poitiers research department (CAIPS), the MRPNA forms a global structure for SHNs and high performance structures, and for future high performance projects in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region outside and within the walls of the two CREPS.

The athletes concerned are :

  • Top-level athletes belonging to the high-performance circle
  • High-level athletes: Elite, Senior and Relève, who in the future will carry the torch for ultra-high performance.

The 4 pillars of

the Maison Régionale de la Performance de Nouvelle-Aquitaine (New Aquitaine Regional Performance Centre)

Optimizing performance in the areas of physical and mental preparation, medical monitoring and skills enhancement.

Performance analysis using statistical data to help coaches and athletes make strategic decisions

Socio-professional support to help them realize their life project, complementing their sporting career.

Supporting Paralympic athletes through a global approach to disabled athletes.

Introducing the Maison Régionale de la Performance

of New Aquitaine

The Maison Régionale de la Performance supported me after my career as a top-level athlete.

My high-level advisor helped me with the administrative formalities and was a real help in obtaining a subsidy from the Agence Nationale du Sport.

This allows me to coach at CAM, my partner fencing club.

Romain NOBLE

Fencing instructor at CAM Bordeaux, three-time Paralympic medallist

My job is to support athletes in their life project so that it is consistent with their performance project.

Each sporting discipline is organized specifically, each athlete is unique, and my job is to take into account the needs and pace of life required to achieve the very highest performance for the athlete, and to plan with him/her for the aftermath of his/her high-level career, enabling him/her to be serene in his/her preparation.
