BACK TO JANUARY RESULTS
Badminton Pôle France
A double international competition took place last weekend in Strasbourg.
In the Girls Cup, Inès Duval-Arnould won gold with the French team after a 3-1 victory over Denmark.
At the French Borders, she won bronze in mixed doubles and reached the quarter-finals in women’s doubles before her partner withdrew due to injury.
Aimy Dumais in the Pupil category distinguished herself by reaching the finals in both Ladies’ Singles and Doubles.
Pôle France Sabre
A fine start to the year for the men’s sabre pole France, with Lucas Guilley and Paul Rouvière winning silver medals with the French team at the U20 World Cup in Boston.
At the U17 international competition from January 23 to 27, Maxence Bloin finished 12th out of 194 sabreurs and Ulysse Le Gac Briand 18th. Ulysse has been selected for the European Championships, and Maxence will be first reserve. A big bravo for their performance!
Pôle Espoirs de Football Américain
The Pôle Espoirs players scored a hard-fought but well-deserved victory over the Black Panthers of Thonon, winning 12-6.
Pôle France de Judo
Tournoi label excellence d’Amilly Féminines :
Tifenn finished 3rd in the -48kg class, Manon took 1st place in the -52kg class, Faustine finished 2nd in the -57kg class, Ines and Zia took 3rd place in the -63kg class, Calypso placed 2nd and Celya 3rd in the -78kg class.
Men :
Tiago Talon took 5th place in the -60kg class, Axel Mohedano won gold and Dorian Arnaud silver in the -66kg class, Antoine Berteau took bronze in the -73kg class, Kaiss Leleu took 2nd place in the -81kg class, Thomas Desjardin finished 3rd in the -90kg class.
Amiens label excellence tournament:
Emma came 2nd in the -63kg class, Océane took 1st place in the +78kg class, and Eros Bonino finished 3rd in the -90kg class.
Well done to our judokas, who put in some excellent performances at the tournaments, winning several podiums and medals. Congratulations!
Pôle France d’Athlétisme
Luc Brewin achieves an exceptional performance by becoming the 5th best French heptathlon performer of all time.
Coached by Jonathan Baleston-Robineau at CREPS Bordeaux, he validated the minimum requirements for the Euro in Apeldoorn and the World Championships in Nanjing, with a new personal best of 6199 points (previous best: 5608). A competition marked by six personal bests.
Well done to all our athletes for a month of outstanding performances!
