CREPS Bordeaux, with you at the heart of the region

Olympic Games Preparation Center – Paris 2024

In 2024, France will host more than 14,800 athletes in all disciplines during the Olympic and Paralympic Summer Games. To host them, Paris 2024 has decided to bring together the best sports facilities, through a list of Olympic and Paralympic Games preparation centers (CPJs)

Bordeaux CREPS awarded CPJ label

CREPS Bordeaux has been selected to join the list of CPJs, among 720 other centers throughout France. This international profile will enable the CREPS to showcase its facilities and expertise in the many sports it can accommodate.

Athletes will be able to train on all the facilities, as well as enjoy accommodation and meals in a 15-hectare park dedicated to top-level athletes.

There are 19 disciplines: archery, para-archery, judo, para-judo, handball, table tennis, para-table tennis, badminton, para-badminton, volleyball, basketball, wheelchair basketball, BMX Race, fencing, modern pentathlon, shooting, para-archery, beach volleyball and rugby 7-a-side.

Opening up to new sporting cultures

The aim of CPJ is also to allow athletes to recover from jet lag and, above all, to acclimatize to the host country. The Bordeaux CREPS will do everything in its power to ensure that the athletes are fully immersed in the atmosphere of the games.

The cultural and sporting richness of the athletes will also be highlighted, helping to grow the sport throughout France.

The adventure of the 2024 Olympic Games begins now!

Once the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games are over, athletes will be able to come and train at a CPJ. A way for them to get their bearings as soon as possible and take advantage of France’s best sports facilities.
