World Skateboarding Tour Dubai Street 2024, a qualifying event for the Olympic Games.

From March 3 to 10, 2024, the Skateboard World Cup took place. On an innovative street course in the heart of Dubai, this competition attracted the world’s best skateboarding talent. As a qualifying event for the Olympic Games, it is, for many of them, the means of obtaining their quota. Among them, Vincent Milou and Lucie Schoonheere tried their luck.

In terms of performance,

While Vincent Milou finished first in the quarter-finals, the Frenchman unfortunately got off to a poor start in his semi-final, placing him last in the standings. Even though he tried to impress the jury with some daring tricks, a few falls pushed him down the rankings. He attempted a number of complex tricks in an attempt to win back points, but failed to complete them. Vincent Milou finally finished 11th in the competition with a score of 59.92.

Lucie Schoonheere is the rising star of French skateboarding. With just a few months to go before the Olympic Games, this competition could have been her ticket to the Games. Unfortunately, after several failed runs, she finished 12th with a total of 18.66. She still qualified for the Olympic Qualifier Series, where she will compete for new quotas.
