A LOOK BACK AT OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC WEEK 2024

As every year, the CREPS Bordeaux took part in Olympic and Paralympic Week from April 2 to 5, 2024.

What is SOP?

With Olympic and Paralympic Week, the French Ministry of Education and Youth and Paris 2024 – Organizing Committee for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, dedicate one week a year to promoting sport among young people and mobilizing the educational community around civic and sporting values.

Every year, thousands of pupils discover the joys of sport andOlympism thanks to this week. It’s a key moment to awaken students to the benefits of sporting activities.

What happened at CREPS Bordeaux?

With Paris 2024 less than 150 days away, the Comité Régional Olympique et Sportif Nouvelle-Aquitaine CROSNAQ and the CREPS de Bordeaux wanted to put together a joint program and welcomed over 500 schoolchildren from all over the department.

On the program : meetings with Olympic and Paralympic athletes and champions, orienteering, introduction to triathlon, games dance, visit to the creps …
