BACK TO THE CREPS DE BORDEAUX AWARDS CEREMONY

On October 10, the CREPS de Bordeaux was delighted to host its annual awards ceremony, a not-to-be-missed event to honor the school’s sportsmen and women who have distinguished themselves through outstanding performances, both in sporting and academic terms.

This year, the CREPS had the honor of hosting 15 of the 89 athletes from the Neo-aquitaine region who took part in the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Among them were champions whose talent and determination continue to inspire many generations of athletes.

We celebrated some exceptional achievements, including that of Joris Daudet, Olympic champion in BMX Race, who made his Olympic dream come true after two years of intense training at the CREPS in Bordeaux. Camille Jedrzejewski, who has trained at the CREPS since the age of 15, was also honored for her silver medal in shooting sports, illustrating the path to excellence she has taken with determination.

Among the other champions present, Lucas Mazur, gold and bronze medallist in para-badminton, and Laurent Chardard, double bronze medallist in para-swimming, testify to the richness and diversity of the talent that trains at CREPS Bordeaux. Their careers are a powerful example of perseverance and self-improvement.

These athletes, supported by the Maison Régionale de la Performance de Nouvelle-Aquitaine, embody the values of commitment and perseverance on a daily basis. Their dedication and success are a source of inspiration to all, both within the CREPS and beyond. Their achievements also bear witness to the quality of the infrastructure and support provided by the Bordeaux CREPS to help each athlete achieve his or her goals.

The awards ceremony paid tribute not only to the achievements of these athletes, but also to the spirit of community and excellence that drives the Bordeaux CREPS. Congratulations to all the champions and all the teams who contribute, every day, to turning sporting dreams into reality.
